• Try to brighten up dim displays by cooking the filaments
• Install a nipple protector if necessary

Sometimes the problem is with the display glass itself. If your display has white spots in the corner of the glass, like this, then the glass display is shot and it can not be repaired. If I can't fix digit or segment problems by replacing the associated electronics, then I assume it's the display itself and your display is unrepairable. Often on these Gottlieb displays, the small fine filament wires will break, which too renders the display useless. Take a good close look at your displays and be sure the 4 or so wires inside are nice and tightly drawn.

So feel free to send me your 4- and/or 6-digit displays(s) and I'll take a look and let you know what I think, then you can decide what to do from there. Probably a good idea if you e-mail me first, just so I know what to expect (remove the NO_S*P*A*M_).

If I can't fix it, you don't pay, except for return postage. If the nipple is broken or the glass is cracked or damaged on your display, don't bother sending it in for repairs as I don't repair or replace the actual display glass itself. If you BUY the glass somewhere else, then send it to me with the driver board, I can remove and replace the glass w/ the new one you supplied.
